WCAG 2.1 Overview

A single instance of non-compliance with a guideline, equates to a fail on that guideline, likewise any “not applicable” issues equate to a pass. In order to achieve AA compliance you must satisfy all of the level A and level AA criteria.

WCAG 2.1 contains 30 criteria at Level A and an additional 20 at Level AA

1.1 Text Alternatives: Provide text alternatives for any non-text content so that it can be changed into other forms people need, such as large print, Braille, speech, symbols or simpler language. Fail

2.2 Enough Time: Provide users enough time to read and use content. Pass
2.3 Seizures: Do not design content in a way that is known to cause seizures. Pass
2.4 Navigable: Provide ways to help users navigate, find content, and determine where they are. Fail
2.5 Input Modalities: Make it easier for users to operate functionality through various inputs beyond the keyboard. Pass
