7.1.1 WCAG 1.4.10 (AA), 1.4.4 (AA) - Desktop, Mobile

When 400 percent browser zoom is applied to the ‘Intranet Content’ page, content is obscured on screen.

This is problematic to low vision users who need to use the browser zoom to perceive and interact with the content. The page should display the following text:

  • Assessment coursework and examination
  • Student handbook and policies
  • Further information for international students

7.1.2 Recommendation

Ensure that there is no loss of content or functionality when zooming by implementing a responsive design. Design preferences and development techniques, like user-scalable="no" parameter, have been seen as best practice in the past but have always caused issues for users of assistive technology.
