6.3.1 WCAG 1.4.3 (AA) - iPhone

When viewing the Intranet landing page using an iPhone, the ‘LJMU Moving Forward Together Read More’ link does not fit into the container. As such, the light blue colour of the link text ‘Read more’ against the white background has a colour contrast ratio of 1.8:1 which fails to meet the colour contrast requirements of a ratio of 4.5:1.

Most people find it easier to see and use UI Components when they have sufficient contrast against the background. People with visual impairments including low vision and colour blindness are especially likely to struggle with controls when contrast is too low.

6.3.2 Recommendation

Ensure that no content is lost or obscured when viewing the site on mobile devices by implementing a responsive design. See Link does not fit within the container (H) .
