2.1 Embedded videos do not use audio descriptions or text transcripts (H)
2.1.1 WCAG 1.2.3 (A) - Desktop
The ‘Why Liverpool John Moore’s University?’ video includes visuals and music which are not communicated to all users.
There is no audio description provided, making it inaccessible for users with visual impairments and there is no statement to inform deaf people that there is background music only.
Also, a text transcript has not been provided for video content. A text transcript helps people who have difficulty perceiving visual content. For blind users, assistive technologies can read these aloud.
Users who have difficulty understanding the meaning of visual content can read this at their own pace and deaf users can read text.
For another issue related to audio description see Video uses autogenerated German captions (H) .
2.1.2 Recommendation
If you intend to use video on your site, you must provide an alternative for time-based media that presents the equivalent information for the video content, including text transcript, subtitles and audio description. This should include an accurate and complete description of the audio content including all speech, identify all speakers and describe any other meaningful sounds.

Where background music is implemented without any spoken audio, there needs to be a caption or note to say “playing background music only”
